We have been competing with and breeding performance Golden Retrievers for over 40 years.  We are located in Northern California, 75 miles north of San Francisco.

We have 12 acres of property for our dogs and their training.

We have qualified for the Master National Hunt Test and the National Agility Championships

Our Kennel, Emberain, has been featured in the Golden Retriever News, May –June 2003 edition Vol.LX, No.3.  Conversations with Ed and Edwina Ryska p. 80

    Edwina has served as:

•       Norcal Cal Golden Retriever newsletter editor
•       Golden Retriever Club of America, Yearbook editor
•       Statistician for GRCA field events for over 20 years
•       Statistician for GRCA outstanding dams and sires
•       Vice President of County Wide Dog Training Club
•       Secretary and Chairperson of numerous field, agility and obedience events
•       Has been honored for her service to the GRCA by numerous service awards

Ed has served as:

•       Field Vice President for Norcal
•       Is an AKC full pointed field trial judge
•       Has judged many field and hunt test events

We were honored to be voted life members of the Golden Retriever Club of America, Norcal GRC and County Wide DTC.
